The Elevator Company is thinking "green". They consciously do everything in their power to ensure that their products are as friendly to the environment as possible. They recognize that your home is your refuge, and strive to provide products that protects the integrity and livability of your home and it's surroundings. Through use of environmentally friendly technology, they are able to use petroleum free products in their systems, therefore preserving natural resources.

The Elevator company's Revolution drive system for residential elevators supports this philosophy. Traditional drive systems use either harmful hydraulic fluids or axle grease to drive hydraulic pumps or lubricate large gear boxes which not only emit odors, but can also contaminate ground water.

Other concerns stem from issues created by equipment noise. Even the quietest roped hydraulic elevators operate at approximately 55 decibels, and gear box driven elevators run at approximately 65 decibels. (Keep in mind that decibel values increase exponentially vs. incrementally fore each additional amount of increase.) The Elevator Company's Revolution drive system, however, operates at a level of less than 20 decibels, providing minimal sound disruption.
